We got soaked!
My lovely friend Rachael ran the great north run! She ran 13 miles!! So so proud! Rachael did it in 2 hours 26 minutes, an excellent time!
It was an amazing day.. Everyone was so excited to see all the runners and no one was put off by the rain. Its also amazing how strangers help others over the finish line when they are struggling even though this will affect there finish time. As well as watching the runners we also watched the red arrows do an amazing display! After the race we all got soaked but then had a yummy but naughty Mc Donalds to warm ourselves up ! Then we drove home ..
An excellent weekend!
